Next On The Menu....

Heath Candy Bar Cupcake!

By popular demand from a good friend of mine, it was his bright idea to take his favorite candy and make it a cupcake. So I agreed to do so since he took the time out to design logos for the biz! I so appreciated it! Now I'm not sure if this cupcake has already been done before but that won't keep me from supplying the goods. I first thought of putting the candy in the batter but now I have an all new game plan for this baby! Stay tuned for the Results!

Where Is The Pineapple???

So over the weekend I made three different flavors of cupcakes, two of which I am used to making and are so far my infamous flavors, Strawberry and Lemon Cupcakes. The third flavor was a newbie for me...Pineapple! Well like Stef from Cupcake Project stated when she made her Pineapple cupcakes, the pineappley flavor you would expect to taste at the first bite was sure enough missing, if it wasn't for the pineapples baked into the batter  the name will not hold. The recipe I used was from the Martha Stewart Cupcakes book which was the original recipe for my infamous Strawberry Cupcakes. But I took the Pineapple cupcakes to a near by T-Mobile store and they loved them, claimed them to be the moistest cupcakes ever and loved the fact that I topped it off with a traditional cream cheese frosting instead of pineapple cream cheese or pineapple frosting period! So despite the pineappley taste missing they were still a SUCCESS!

P.S.
I strongly disliked the fact the liners pulled away from the cupcakes! Heeellp!

THE MID-BEGINNING

Mid-Beginning, you ask? Why is that? Well let me explain it all. I titled this post Mid- Beginning because I am in the middle of starting my own catering business specializing in cupcakes and I have baked over 200 cupcakes thus far but rarely took pictures of my work or blogged about my experiences that I have encountered thus far. So this blog is my Beginning of both  sharing my work and my experiences with baking. I was inspired by Stef of Cupcake Project, I fell in love with her blog and her wonderful way of bringing in a reader with her entice diction. Sooo I thought I should give it a shot and do the same, except I am baking my way to success!

Hope You Enjoy!
